Parish of Hampton, Kings County. Will dated 6 February 1823, proved 7 April 1823. Wife Alche the farm where I live with such farming utensils and household furniture as she may require, six milch cows, one yoke of oxen, a span of horses and all the sheep, hogs and fowls during her life. Daughter Phebe FORD a cow and calf and a feather bed with sufficient covering, bedstead and curtains. Daughters Sarah FORD and Allida FORD each the same as bequeathed to Phebe. All other cattle, farming utensils and furniture to be sold. Daughters Phebe, Sarah and Allida two Town lots on the north side of Elliots Row or Little George Street in the City of Saint John. Son John Prall (written "Prall" but may be "Pratt") FORD the farm after his mother's death, he to pay £100 to each of his sisters, that is, to Rachel PRICE, Mary MONGER, Issabel McCREADY, Catharine SHEARWOOD, Phebe FORD, Sarah FORD and Allida FORD, each £100. The movables and money to be divided among my wife and seven daughters. Wife Alche FORD, son John P. FORD and Laurence FOSTER executors. Witnesses: Robert TOWNSEND, Cosby KETCHUM, Thomas FEARYBOY (named in probate documents as "Thomas FEARERBY"). Inventory, dated 20 March 1823, valued at £2,943 by Gabriel FOWLER, Richard SHERWOOD and Jeremiah TOWNSEND included the farm valued at £2,000.
