If children die, half of estate to wife, the other half to be divided among my brother Patrick and sisters Margaret and Elizabeth. Wife Sarah HUGHES, Peter McBRIDE, John MORGAN and James McCOY executors. Witnesses: John BROADLY, Peter McBRIDE, John MORGAN, Sarah BROADLY, James McCOY. On 18 March 1831, Peter McBRIDE and John MORGAN petitioned the probate court, stating that the widow Sarah HUGHES had lately married one McCARRON, and had refused to make and exhibit an inventory of the estate and an accounting. Sarah McCARRON presented an inventory on 31 March 1831 indicating assets of £60 and debts of £17, including the sum of £3 owing to James McCARRON.
