Résumé Parish of St. George, Charlotte County, Esquire. St. John County records. Will dated 8 April 1805, proved at Saint John 15 March, registered at Saint John 20 March 1810. Wife Anne McKENZIE, besides her right of dower, £1,000, the interest she is to receive yearly, and at her demise the principal to be divided among my children. Each of my daughters Elizabeth Jane, Anne, Margaret and Isabella, and to any other children I may have by my wife Anne, £500 each on day of their marriage, provided each has the consent of her mother. Eldest son George and son Hector jointly the residue of real and personal estate. Ward CHIPMAN Esq. and Andrew CROOKSHANK of City of Saint John and Donald McDONALD Esq. of County of Charlotte each £10 to buy mourning. Donald McDONALD, Andrew CROOKSHANK and son George MacKENZIE(sic), when he arrive at lawful age, executors. Witnesses: Hugh MacKAY, Peter CLINCH, John CAMPBELL. CODICIL dated 8 April 1805 in case mortality happening to me before I effect a sale and settlement of my late brother Hector's estate in the Islands of Berbice and Trinidad, to do which I am now about leaving the province of New Brunswick, executors directed to dispose of all real and personal estate left testator by brother Hector. Witnesses: William DONALDSON, James HENDRICKS, Alexander GILCHRIST.
