Wife Eleanor SCRIBNER one third part of all real and personal estate and the use of the best room in the house, the same to be finished & painted & fitted with a Franklin Stove "or otherwise to her likeing," the use of the south bedroom, the "privilidge of the Kitchen and Cellar," and two good cows while she remains my widow. Residue of estate to be divided into nine and a half shares. Son Samuel SCRIBNER one half share. Son John SCRIBNER one share. Son Thomas SCRIBNER two shares, he giving up his claim to any part of the stock on the farm where I now live. Son Seth one and a half shares, he also giving up his claim to any part of the stock. Son Joshua SCRIBNER one share. Daughter Elizabeth ARMSTRONG one half share to her use during her life and after that to be divided among the children which she had before her marriage. Daughter Polly SCRIBNER one share, she also giving up her claim to any part of the stock. Son Peter SCRIBNER one share, he giving up his claim to the stock. Son Harry SCRIBNER one share. Real estate not to be sold under three or four years after my decease, giving the heirs an opportunity to purchase. Farm to be rented out, either to the heirs or to others to the best advantage.
