City of Saint John, St. John County, Merchant. Will dated 10 November 1828, proved 19 February 1829. Charlotte Ann KNIGHT, daughter of my sister, the late Charlotte Ann Newton KNIGHT, £50 at age 18. A like sum of £50 to be applied to the education of the two eldest children of my late brother Benjamin M. STYMEST of St. Andrews. In case of the death of either or both, that sum to be applied to educating the youngest or remaining children. Catharine STEVENS, wife of John STEVENS, Elizabeth HUTCHISON, wife of Andrew HUTCHISON, Amelia McADAM, widow of the late Henry McADDAM(sic), Sarah WATTS, wife of Reuben WATTS, Deborah SPENCE, wife of Samuel SPENCE, an equal share, or one-fifth, of whatever may be collected of my estate on debts due, subject to the before mentioned legacies, to their only use and behoof and not to their husbands, to be applied by them toward the Educating their Children.
