William James Egbert COMPTON 100 dollars. John Egbert COMPTON 50 dollars, when he is out of his apprenticeship. Cornelia COMPTON 7 shillings and 6 pence. Directs that house and lot not be sold until youngest child is age 18. Mentions land in "Mahogne Cove," Seldons Cove, a lot in the City bought of Ruben [DECKER]. Daughter Eleanor sole executrix (appears in Record Book B as "Elenor COMPTON"); if she not living, then Samuel MILES and Robert WOOD. Witnesses: Stephen KENT, Benjamin PUGSYLEY, Laurence FOSTER. An inventory, filed 19 December 1819, by the executrix, Eleanor O'NIEL "formerly COMPTON" and her husband, James O'NIEL, valued furnishings at £6, mentioned house and lot of land in Germain Street, Saint John.
