Located on Grand Manan Island, 7.57 km WSW of Grand Harbour: Grand Manan Parish, Charlotte County: in 1866 Seal Cove was a fishing community with about 13 families: PO from 1875: in 1898 Seal Cove had 1 post office, 3 stores, 1 fish canning factory, 1 church and a population of about 500: Seal Cove was incorporated as a village in 1966 and became part of the village of Grand Manan in 1995.
