Administration granted 15 May 1826 to the widow Cynthia BARKER of the City of Saint John and son-in-law David JEWETT, farmer, of Sunbury County. Fellow bondsmen Alexander McLEOD, merchant, and George WHITTAKER, gentleman, both of the City of Saint John. Petition of Cynthia BARKER, dated 15 May 1826, stated husband died "about two weeks since" leaving one son, Jacob W., "absent at present in Scotland," and three daughters, all of age.
