Abstract Parish of Burton, Sunbury County, Farmer. Will dated 14 May 1829, proved 22 June 1829. Wife Maria, who is to all appearances very nigh her end, her care and maintenance. Sons Thomas BURPE and William Gordon BURPE Lot 43 in a block of land called Sea Creek in Parish of Douglas, York County and the £25 due me from my father Edward BURPE and my brother Moses C. BURPE payable when my sons come of age. Daughters Susannah [Paine] BURPE and Margaret Barker BURPE £25 due me from my father and my brother aforesaid. Stephen BURPE of Sheffield sole executor. Witnesses: David BURPE, Benjamin SCOTT, William W. GORDON. Inventory, dated 19 August 1829, valued at £108 by Isaac BURPE, Moses C. BURPE and David JEWETT.
