Abstract City of Saint John, St. John County, Merchant. Will dated 4 April 1804, registered 2 March 1809. Wife Rachel all real and personal estate for life, and one-eighth part of estate, except the land hereafter specifically devised to Robert William CROOKSHANK, to her and her heirs forever. Robert William CROOKSHANK Junr., son of Andrew CROOKSHANK, after the decease of my wife, Lot 1590 in Charlotte Street; one-fourth part of Manowagonish Island in the Bay of Fundy, and such land as I hold in partnership with Andrew CROOKSHANK. After the decease of my wife, I give to Andrew CROOKSHANK and Elizabeth, his wife, nephew and niece of my said wife, three-eighths of estate, except that part conveyed to Robert William CROOKSHANK. Elizabeth NORRIS, niece of my wife, one-eighth part of estate. Rachel CROOKSHANK, niece of my wife, one-eighth part. Robert William CROOKSHANK Senior, nephew of my wife, one-eighth part. George CROOKSHANK, nephew of my wife, one-eighth part jointly with Katherine, wife of John McGILL Esquire, her niece. Wife Rachel COLVILL, Andrew CROOKSHANK and William BLACK executors. Witnesses: George McCALL, William PAGAN, Adino PADDOCK.
