Abstract Waweig, Parish of St. Andrews, Charlotte County. Will dated 29 September 1835, proved 5 November 1835. Wife Sarah residue of estate after all bequests. Son John the farm, 330 acres, where he now resides, purchased from William McKAY. Son Thomas land in the Jones lot west side of River Waweig and 100 acres purchased from Colin CAMPBELL. Son Samuel land east side of Waweig and 250 acres purchased from Colin CAMPBELL; house and buildings on my homestead, reserving a room for daughter Sarah while unmarried. Daughters Jane YOUNG and Margaret STRANG land on Waweig River. Daughter Sarah a gore lot east side of Waweig, excepting an acre lot I sold to Widow ABERNATHY, and my carding machine joining the saw mill. Sons Thomas and Samuel my saw mill and grist mill above Waweig bridge. Sons John and Samuel tract of land called the Bradford Chopping, 330 acres. Sons John, Thomas and Samuel all lands on east side of [Twiners] Ridge road. Wife Sarah CONNICK and her brother John McKENNY, master mariner of Deer Island, executors. Witnesses: Colin CAMPBELL, William KERR, John WILSON.
