Abstract City of Saint John, St. John County, Spinster. Died February 1827 intestate. Administration granted 18 June 1828 to Thomas PADDOCK Esq. Fellow bondsmen Charles DRURY Junr. Esq. and Philip KEHOE, all of the City of Saint John. Thomas PADDOCK, in his petition for administration, stated that Mary EVANS left no relative in this Province; that he communicated the accounts of her death to her relatives in Penwith in Wales; and that her mother, Elizabeth EVANS, a widow, sent him a power of attorney to take out administration of estate. Power of attorney executed by Elizabeth EVANS in the presence of David HARRIES, writer, at Cardigan, attested to by Thomas HOWELL Esq., Mayor of Cardigan.
