Abstract Parish of Norton, Kings County. Intestate. On 24 April 1797 the kindred and creditors of the deceased were cited to appear and show cause why administration of the estate should not be granted to Joseph BAXTER. Administration granted 4 July 1797 to Joseph BAXTER. Fellow bondsmen Andrew SPROUL and Nicholas BICKEL, all of Kings County. Inventory, dated 16 October 1797, valued at £1 19s. by Andrew SPROUL and Martin LAHY covered 3 "Beeds," 3 handkerchiefs, 3 shirts, a case of razors and a pair of "specttels."
