Abstract Parish of St. Stephen, Charlotte County. Will dated 13 March 1826, proved 19 October 1831. Wife Elizabeth one-half furniture, house, right of dower in real estate. Second and youngest son Alexander £5. Only daughter Margaret CRAIG a cow and three sheep. Eldest son James all real estate subject to wife's dower right. At death of son James, if he have no heirs, the estate to my grandson William McADAM and the children of my daughter Margaret. Son James FRASER sole executor. Witnesses: Robert SHEED, Thomas [LESURE], Sarah HILL. A second "William FRASER" file contains a petition, dated 22 September 1836, of Andrew PERRY stating Alexander GRANT and William D. CHRISTY on 12 November 1835 gave William FRASER, now deceased, a Bond for £200, a deed to Mary PERRY, wife of petitioner, to be executed on the death of William FRASER, who died 20 Sept. last past, leaving a widow and one daughter, Mary PERRY; that the person cited as his widow seven years before his death left his Bed and Board and lived in a state of adultery with one [Morris] ANDERSON. Administration granted 24 September 1836 to Andrew PERRY and his wife Mary PERRY with fellow-bondsmen John HASTAY, St. Stephen, and Albert G. FOSTER, St. David.
