Abstract Queens County, Esquire. York County records. Will dated 1 July 1816, proved 3 September 1816. Wife, unnamed, all household goods and use of farm until youngest son, Benjamin, be age 21, when property to be divided. Executors empowered to sell Lots 24, 25 and 26 purchased from Jonathan TITUS and David BURLOCK if necessary. Estate to be divided among sons Isaac Birdsall, Charles Dean, Joshua, Joseph, John, Edward (may be one person, "John Edward"), and Benjamin, and daughters Margaret and Sarah. Eldest son Isaac Birdsall £50 at age 21. Wife, unnamed (as "Deborah GIDNEY" in the probate records), son Isaac Birdsall and William FOSHAY executors. Witnesses: Samuel R. CLARKE, Frederick ANDREWS, James PETERS. Probate granted to two of the executors, Deborah GIDNEY and William FOSHAY, the other executor, Isaac Birdsall GIDNEY being an infant under the age of 21. Inventory, dated 21 January 1817, valued at £2,461 by Isaac FOSHAY and Archelus PURDY. Queens County record in the following file.
