Abstract Parish of Kingsclear, York County, Yeoman. Will dated 20 January 1805, proved 10 March 1806. Wife Jarusha income from one-third of property while widow. Daughter Elizabeth a lot of land off the farm and part of the house contained in the bounds of that lot. Daughter Jarusha to live in the house while single. Son Judah £25. Ruth Amelia HART, daughter of my eldest daughter Clarisse HART, £50. Son Simon remainder of farm, three-quarters of sawmill. Daughter Clarissa HART 30 shillings. The Berdon Farm to be divided among son Lothrop, daughter Sally, son Archelus, daughter Jarusha. Chest of Joiners tools to Archelaus, Framing tools to Simon with a "Jointer Foreplain and smoothing plain and drawing knives." Lothrop, Archeleus and Simon HAMMOND executors. Witnesses: Benjamin CLOSE, Mary MILLER. On 10 March 1806, the witness is referred to as Mary DYER by the Surrogate.
