Abstract Parish of Burton, Sunbury County, Esquire. Will dated 16 July 1823, proved 13 February 1828. Wife Priscilla use of dwelling and furnishings in addition to her right of dower. Son William McKinstry HAZEN land in Burton on Oromocto River, he to pay Ephraim TREADWELL for buildings erected under a lease expiring 1 May 1825. Son John HAZEN land in Burton. Sons James HAZEN and Robert HAZEN residue of lands in Burton and Lincoln, land not to be conveyed to any person out of the name of HAZEN. Son Thomas HAZEN £150. Son Nathaniel Merril HAZEN £150 at age 21. Daughter Eliza KIMBALL £50. Daughters Mary Ann HAZEN, Sarah HAZEN and Charlotte HAZEN each £75. Grand-daughter Priscilla Ann HAZEN £20 when of age. Son Charles HAZEN, who by mistake was not before mentioned, £150. Wife Priscilla, sons James and Robert HAZEN joint executors. Witness: David BURPE, William McFARLIN, William BURPE. Inventory, dated 18 February 1828, valued at £3,179 by Calvin CAMP, T. V. W. CLOWES and John S. BROWN.
