Abstract Parish of Portland, St. John County, widow and relict of William HAZEN. Will dated 17 January 1820, proved 11 August 1823. Entire estate to Ward Chipman the Younger, Esquire, he to invest the same at interest. He to pay the interest of £250 annually for the support, maintenance and education of my dear adopted daughter Charlotte LeBaron HAZEN, child of my deceased son LeBaron, until she is married or arrives at the age of 21 years, when she is to receive the principal. The interest of the balance of the estate to be paid to my daughter Frances Amelia DRURY, wife of Charles DRURY Esq., without being subject to the debts or control of her husband. On her decease, residue of estate to be paid to the child or children of my daughter in such manner or proportions as she may by her last will and testament devise. Ward Chipman the Younger sole executor. Witnesses: Ward CHIPMAN, G. H. HAZEN, John Thomas MURRAY.
