Abstract Township of Hampstead, Queens County. Will dated 29 June 1798, proved 15 January 1799. Son John LESTER the half lot of land, Lot 6, I live on, provided he pay my son Benjamin LESTER £100 when Benjamin comes to age 21. Son John a yoke of oxen, four cows, two two-year-old cattle, two yearlings and a bed and bedding. Wife Losee (named "Lois otherwise called Losee LESTER" in the probate documents) LESTER two cows and one third of the lot of land I live on with the best room in the house while my widow. Wife all household furniture, to be divided at her death among my three youngest daughters, Mary, Marget and Loes(sic). Residue of estate to son John. Wife Losee LESTER, son John LESTER and Stephen SMITH executors. Witnesses: Peleg TRIPP, Elias SECORD.
