Abstract "At present of New Town on Long Island in the State of New York." St. John County records. Will dated 31 January 1799, proved 29 July 1799 before the Surrogate for Queens County, Long Island. Recorded at Saint John 15 January 1800, proved at Saint John on 24 August 1800, Elizabeth MOOR and William WHITLOCK executors, with leave for Samuel HALLET, the other executor, to prove the same. Son John MOORE £10 N.Y. currency over and above his proportion with my wife Elizabeth MOORE and my children in full satisfaction of and against his being my heir at law. Executors to dispose of property in Township of Grenville in Annapolis in the Province of Nova Scotia, paying the proceeds to wife Elizabeth for support of herself and my children. Executors to lease land in St. Mary's Parish, Province of New Brunswick for term not exceeding fourteen years, such rental to be paid to wife Elizabeth. Personal estate to be divided among wife and children. Wife Elizabeth MOORE, David MOORE and Timothy ROACHE, all of New Town, and William WHITLOCK of Saint John and Daniel HALLET of St. Mary's Parish in York County, New Brunswick, executors. Witnesses: Henry VanDYKE, Richard LAWRENCE, Daniel S. MOORE.
