Abstract Parish of Waterborough, Queens County. "Of the County called Queens County and Province of New Brunswick Noviscotia." Will dated 28 March 1787, proved 16 May 1797. All real and personal estate to wife Meary POWELL excepting £5 to my son Caleb POWELL if at any time he should come to this Province. Two sons, Solomon POWELL and Ruben POWELL "be Impowered to aid and assist the above Meary POWELL Occeasionally" in every point necessary "with true justice and Equality." Witnesses: Edward GARNER, Richard CANTRELL. On 16 May 1797 Mary POWELL affirmed that "I am one of the Dissenters from the Church of England commonly called Quakers and have been so for one Year and upwards now last past" and agreed to assume the duties of executrix. Inventory, dated 27th 5mo 1797, valued at £41 by Thomas CARLE and David BRILL.
