Abstract Parish of Hopewell, Westmorland County, Husbandman. Will dated 28 October 1828, proved 4 December 1828. Wife Bathsheba all Robert DICKSON's share of the Estate of the late Nehemiah STEVENS Senior which I purchased from him including the Dyke land of said share, together with James HAYWARD's share of said Estate exclusive of the Dykeland, a piece of upland adjoining Charlotte STEVENS orchard, the household furniture and one chaise and harness. To wife Bathsheba one third of all my real estate for life. Eldest son Horatio Nelson ROBINSON the farm I deeded to him purchased from Hiram STEVENS, seven acres adjoining land belonging to the heirs of Josiah BENNETT, ten acres adjoining a lot occupied by the heirs of Nehemiah STEVENS Junr., eleven acres of salt marsh adjoining the Genesse Dyke Creek, woodland adjoining land owned by Joel PASSMORE on the New Horton Road, upland adjoining Charlotte STEVENS orchard and a lot adjoining the farm owned by Reuben PECK. Winthrop and Joseph ROBINSON, my third and fourth sons, the two Island farms I have deeded to them adjoining lands owned by James BRECY, my homestead farm where I now live including the blacksmith shop and tools, a lot of dykeland adjoining the homestead farm, a lot containing 33 acres on the first Division, six acres on the New Dyke, 15 acres of salt marsh and my livestock. Winthrop and Joseph to have the use of the land bequeathed to their brother William until he is age 21, they to support William until that time and their two sisters, Ann and Lucinda, until they are age 18. Fifth son, Jonathan Levi ROBINSON, my point farm purchased from Samuel NEWCOMB and deeded to my by Andrew NEWCOMB his father, he paying his brother William at age 21 the sum of £50. Sixth son, William ROBINSON, farm formerly belonging to my father Bradbrey ROBINSON in Hopewell Village, land purchased from Aaron STEVENS, a lot of upland adjoining Joel PASSMORE, a lot of woodland adjoining the Village Horn, a lot of dykeland on the Round Dyke joining the Running Dyke, a lot on the Village Dyke adjoining John BENNETT, and £50 to be paid by his brother Levi. Daughters Ann and Lucinda each £150 at age 18. Lucinda BREWSTER £5. Lucinda Eleanor STEVENS £5. Residue of estate to be divided among my five sons. Wife Bathsheba and son Winthrop ROBINSON executors. Witnesses: Aaron STEVENS, John C. TURNER. Aaron STEVENS, Thomas BREWSTER and David AKERLY directed to appraise the estate.
