Abstract Formerly of Sussex County, Delaware, now Shelburne Co., Nova Scotia. York County records. Will dated 26 July 1786, proved 10 August 1787. Sons Thomas and Peter 500 acres land in Wilmot Township, N.S., purchased from Col. Isaac ALLEN and sold to Samuel MOORE which is to be returned in 3 years from date of sale if MOORE unable to pay. Eldest son Thomas £400 N.S. currency, pinchbeck watch, chain and gold seal, silver Spectacles and case, my Negro boy Manuel. Son Peter £600 at age 21, silver spoons, etc. Daughter Areada CANNON £200, Negro woman Priscilla and her child, Sally. Tract of land formerly property of Cornelius TURNER, deceased. Brother Peter a Negro boy, Philip, a blacksmith by trade. Brother Burton a suit of "Drab coloured clothes." Brothers Peter and Burton ROBINSON, son Thomas ROBINSON executors. Witnesses: Nancy BURTON, James HUMPHREYS, William LEONARD.
