Abstract New Jerusalem, Parish of Hampstead, Queens County. Will dated 15 June 1828, proved 12 March 1831. "I leave and bequeath to my lawful Heir the sum of five pounds Currency provide I die without Bodily Heirs." Fifty acres off the rear of my lot to be sold to pay my just debts. Wife Hannah one third of the residue of my real estate, all personal estate and the use of the remainder of the real estate while my widow. At wife's death or marriage the two-thirds of my real estate to be divided among my brothers and sisters. Brother Robert SHARP and brother-in-law Mark SHORT executors. Witnesses: John INCH, Joseph HOYT, James HOYT. Inventory, dated 3 March 1831, valued at £276 by John SHORT and Peleg SMITH.
