Abstract Parish of Waterborough, Queens County. Will dated 23 January 1832, proved 31 October 1833. Son Absolem SMITH all real estate, livestock and farming utensils, subject to the following legacies: daughter Phoebe DOW £150; daughter Mary SMITH £250; daughter Elizabeth Francis SMITH "(now McMONAGLE)" £150; daughter Mary SMITH two cows and six sheep. Son Absolem and daughter Mary all household furniture. Niece Fanny McMONAGLE a feather bed and bedding and £100. Daughter Mary SMITH, while unmarried, the back room with the bedroom in the northeast end of my house. Grandson Elijah Smith DOW £25 five years after my decease. Son Absolem SMITH and son-in-law John DOW executors. Witnesses: Harry PETERS, Valentine H. PETERS, Margaret M. PETERS. Inventory of real and personal estate, dated 15 May 1834, valued at £2,661 by Samuel SCOVIL, Harry PETERS and William F. BONNELL.
