Abstract Parish of Moncton, Westmorland County. Will dated 7 May 1830, proved 5 April 1831. Son Andrew a note I hold against him for £32 and what I have already given him, he paying to my daughters Hannah, Margaret and Nancy each £5. Son Lewis land in the Township of Coverdale now in his possession, with the exception of the small dales of marsh that I occupy to be given to my sons Ephraim and Daniel, he to pay my daughter Hannah £25. Son Reuben the two notes of hand I hold against him and what I have already given him. Son Charles £10 and what I have already given him. Son Joshua my land in the Township of Salisbury, he paying my daughter Nancy £25. My two younger sons, Ephraim and Daniel, my homestead in the Township of Moncton, farming utensils, carpenter tools and the household furniture. Son Daniel to pay my daughter Margret £25. Son Ephraim to pay the heirs of my late daughter Rosannah each £5 as they come of age or marry. Stock and money to be divided among all children. Sons Andrew, Lewis and Ephraim executors. Witnesses: Solomon TRITES, Aaron JONES, Rachel STEEVES.
