Abstract Parish of St. Martins, St. John County. Will dated 11 June 1807, proved 25 July 1808. Daughter Eils (?) SMITH 40 shillings. Son David VAUGHAN land he now lives on, part of Lot 3 in St. Martins. Son John £3. Daughter Rebecah CRANDEL £3. Son Ebenezer Lot 1 and the north end of Lot 15 until it joins the front of the same lot that I give to James McLEOD. Son Henery, if he be living, £40. Son William one-half of Lot 14, the west side only, reserving the improvements on the south side of the road so long as my wife lives for her use. Daughter Mary COMPTON 20 shillings. Daughter Lydia FOWNS(sic) one-half Lot 12. Daughter Elizabeth one-half Lot 12. Son Daniel Lot 2 and the front of Lot 3 and the south end of Lot 15. Nephew James McLEOD ten acres of land out of Lot 15. Wife Liday VAUGHAN residue of estate, to be divided among my children at her decease. Ebenezer VAUGHAN and James McLEOD executors. Witnesses: James McLEOD, Philip MOSHER, Samuel TEMPELMAN. Inventory, dated 23 November 1808, by William McLEOD, William LOVEJOY and John FOWNES valued at £273, included one-quarter part of the schooner "Rachel," £100.
