Abstract City of Saint John, St. John County, Mariner. Queens County records. Will dated 21 April 1817, proved 24 June 1828 at Gagetown, Queens County. About to "Quit this province on Ship Bord For Distant Shores and can not tell that I may Ever Return." My father John YEAMANS the Elder "his Better Maintenance if Required" for life. Nephew David YEAMANS £5. Brother Peters £100. Brother [Jairus or Jaimes] £50. Brother Ritchard(sic) £50. Each of my sisters £25. Thomas COX sole executor. Witnesses: William BREEZE, Nicholas KAVANAGH, Israel LAWSON. File contains a letter from John YEAMANS to Thomas COX informing him of his appointment as executor and instructing him to settle "my Little business" and to "provide for your Grand Father out of the property that may come into your hands by this appointment" as "his grate age renders him uncapable of taking care of him Self." Inventory of real and personal estate in Canning, Queens County, dated 18 and 19 June 1828, valued at £2,310 by John EARLE, James BUTLER and Peter COX.
