Abstract Parish of Norton, Kings County, Farmer. Will dated 28 July 1832, proved 15 August 1832. Nephew Peter DWYER, of this place, land in the Parish of Norton. Daughter Margaret, wife of George BAXTER, lots on both sides of the Kennebecasis. Daughter Mary Ann HATFIELD, wife of Daniel HATFIELD land. Nephew John LANNEN, son of my brother Barney LANNEN of [Mornas Iniss] (as "Thomas Town" in Record Book C, page 22) in the County of Kilkenny in Ireland two hundred pounds Sterling. Niece Mary LANNEN, daughter of Barney LANNEN, £50 Sterling. Friend John HAY (named as "HAYES" in the court records) of this Parish, farmer, and Thomas WATTERS of the City of Saint John, butcher, executors. Witnesses: David B. WETMORE, William HAY, Simon HAYES. CODICIL dated 8 July 1832 bequeaths furniture in the north corner room of my house to wife, and at her death, to Eliza HAY, wife of William HAY. Wife to have her thirds. Daughters Margaret and Mary Ann residue of furniture. Witnesses: David B. WETMORE, Simon HAYES. CODICIL dated 2 August 1832 amends description of properties bequeathed to daughters Margaret and Mary Ann. Witnesses: David B. WETMORE, William HAY, John B. BLAIR. Inventory, dated 13 August 1832, valued at £3,145 by David B. WETMORE and William BARNETT included the homestead farm valued at £2,500.
