The Sackville 'Post' states that on Monday afternoon about 4 o'clock at the steam mill of Capt. John CALHOUN, Hopewell Cape (Albert Co.) the boiler exploded killing the driver, Gilbert D. GRAVES. He was standing at the end of the boiler and thrown some 20 feet and picked up amongst the debris of the building, his jaw broken and with a large wound in his head. He was horribly scalded and died in about 15 minutes. He was a single man, about 24 years of age and belonged to Goshen (Kings Co.)
