On Saturday as litte Henry WHEATON, age 9, was coasting with his younger brother, the sled struck a knoll, throwing the fellow 15 feet with his head against a tree. No one but his little brother saw the accident. He went home, but not being old enough to realize the trouble, did not hurry. He had fallen off the sled before the accident. His father went to the scene and the shocking sight of his boy lying insensible awaited him. It was then about dark and they judged the boy had lain the best part of an hour. He was taken home and died about 11 o'clock that night. He was the eldest child of Howard WHEATON and Emma WHEATON. Funeral took place Monday 30th and was conducted by Rev. S.H. Weyman - 'Transcript'
