An Oso correspondent writes to the Kingston, Ontario News as follows: William CONNORS, our shoemaker, died in Kingston hospital on Jan. 10 after a lingering illness. He was born in St. John, N.B. in the year 1810 where he lived until about ten years ago when he came to Oso station and resided here until his death. The remains were deposited in the English Church cemetery on Monday. The burial ceremony was performed by Rev. Geo. Scantleberry. Oso is a station of the Kingston & Pembroke Railway, four miles north of Sharbot Lake junction and fifty odd miles north of Kingston.
