On Thursday morn. last James CASSIDY, age 16, eldest s/o John CASSIDY, Newcastle (North. Co.) was drowned while skating off the point of the marsh. The body was finally recovered by the grief stricken father on Saturday afternoon. The remains were interred in St. James Church burial ground on Monday afternoon. (see original)
