Lamentable Accident! On Wednesday evening an accident occurred at Kouchibouguac (Kent Co.) of a perculiarly painful nature, of three men breaking through the ice, and two meeting an untimely end. They had been to Richibucto, to attend the Sessions, and were on their return home, when on passing over an oyster bed at the mouth of the Kouchibouguac the ice gave way, and the whole with the horse and sleigh were plunged into the water. One of the party succeeded in getting out and went to the nearest house for assistance, when one of the men named James BURRES who had supported himself till that time, was extricated, but died almost immediately after. The other, named George ALLEN, sunk on his first immersion, and was no more seen. They have both left wives and children and Burre's family is a very large one.
