John LIPSETT of George Street dropped dead in the Barker House Alley Monday morn. about 11 o'clock. Mr. Lipsett had been in apparent good health and an hour or so before death was engaged in shovelling snow from his door. Heart disease is said to be the cause. Mr. Lipsett was formerly a resident of Lincoln Parish (Sunbury Co.) and on selling his farm there, removed to this city on the 1st May last. He leaves a widow and an adopted son. Deceased was a brother of Miss Hannah LIPSETT, corner York and Charlotte streets.
