Halifax 'Herald', 9th - It is our painful duty to record another sad drowning accident which occurred near Tancook, N.S. on Wednesday afternoon whereby three men lost their lives. It appears six men, fishermen belonging to Tancook: John WILSON, George MASON, David LANGILLE, Isaac MASON (brother of George); Wm ROSS, Thomas ROSS and Charles ROSS left Tancook on the morn of the day above mentioned, in a centred boat, 15 feet keel for the purpose of going to Chester to procure some lobster stock, consisting of bows, etc. The names of those drowned are John WILSON, leaving a wife and six or seven children; George WILSON, wife and six children; David LANGILLE, wife and five children.
