Mrs. Robert LIPSETT died last eve. at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. John COOMBS, York St. Deceased, who had attained the ripe old age of 87 years, was attacked with haemorrhage of the brain about ten days ag which caused her death. Her maiden name was Miss Ruth LONG and her birth place, Londonderry, Ireland. She came to this country when quite young and settled in Fredericton and with the exception of a few years residence in Nashwaak (York Co.) has lived here ever since. The late Mrs. ROSBOROUGH, mother of Ald. ROSBOROUGH, was a sister of the deceased. In addition to Mrs. Coombs, there are two other daughters, viz. Mrs. Chas. WILEY and Mrs. Andrew WILEY, both of Jacksonville (Carleton Co.). There are four sons, Andrew LIPSETT, chief engineer of the fire dept.; James LIPSETT, Nashwaak, Henry LIPSETT, an employee on the Canada Eastern R.R. and John LIPSETT, this city. The remains will be taken to Nashwaak Monday for interment. Rev. Payson will officiate and undertaker John G. Adams will have charge of the arrangments.
