While passing down the southwest end of Union St. (St. John), between 10 and 11 o'clock Saturday night, John McCORMACK observed a dark object on the outer edge of the ashphalt walk in the vicinity of Sackville House. It proved to be the body of Patrick McKEOWN, a man over 60 years of age who had for some time past been doing chores around the city, putting in coal and the like. He had previously been a baker and worked at J.T. Boyle's bakery, Bryden Bros and other bakers. He had no relatives in this city, but has two sons in the United States and a brother in St. Stephen (Charlotte Co.) (see original)
