A young man named George CONNORS, fireman on steamer "Antelope" was drowned while bathing yesterday afternoon at the foot of Hartt's Island. He was unable to swim and getting out of his depth was drowned before any assistance could reach him from his companions. CONNORS was from Long Reach where his parents reside.
