Carleton Co. Notes - A sad accident occurred this eve near H. Davis's mill by which a little boy lost his life. Garfield MANUEL s/o Charles MANUEL, truckman, while fishing with some other lads fell into the stream. The alarm was soon given and in a few minutes a number had gathered around, but it was not known exactly where the little boy went down. When the body was found life was extinct. He was about six years old.
