Cambridge (Queens Co.) Dec. 10 - The exact age of William CHASE of the Narrows is not known, but he is somewhere in the vicinity of 93 or 94. Many years ago he was able to stand in a half bushel measure and shoulder a barrel of flour. His great endurance fitted him for the life that he led - that of a hunter and trapper. He still continues to trap with success. He has seen many of the settlements along the Washademoak rise out of the wilderness and has many interesting stories to tell of pioneer life in the province.
