The many friends of M. McDADE, formerly of the 'News' of this city, will regret to learn that on 2nd inst., he was lying quite ill in Winnipeg, Manitoba, having been stricken down on the street by an epileptic fit. He is being cared for at the residence of Frank CLARK whose wife is a Saint John (West) girl. - 'Sun' McDade for some time past occupied a position on the Winnipeg 'Times', an evening paper.
