Bristol (Carleton Co.) Oct. 8 - James MEED, an old and respected resident, died Thursday and was buried on Sunday. He was aged about 80 years and carried on the show making business until last spring whn he retired and lived with his son-in-law, Charles ARMSTRONG. The funeral services were held in the Free Baptist Church and Elder Elijah Gray preached the sermon. He leaves a widow and quite a large family, four of whom reside in the village.
