The name of the Dartmouth, N.S. man who drowned in the ill fated steamer "Pacific" was John McCORMACK. He was, it appears, on his way home to stay. He had a large sum of money with him which was lost with the steamer, but he leaves considerable property in California, the heirs to which are his brother and sister.
