Rev. Geo. B. Payson of the Methodist Church writes to us as follows: At Hot Springs, Arkansas, March 9, Robert CONNORS of Connors Station, St. Francis, N.B. Mr. Connors was born at West River, Pictou, N.S. Dec. 18, 1828. His father's mother came from Scotland in the ship "Hector", Sept. 15, 1773. Mr. Connors by his hard labor and faithful perserverance accumulated a large amount of property. Connorsville is a lasting monument of his enterprise and business abilities. His remains were brought home to Connors Station for interment. (see original)
