Yesterday morn., Capt. Augustus QUICK, a resident of this city for upwards half a century, died at residence of his son-in-law, Andrew LAWSON, Union St., Saint John. He was born at Dartmouth, England in 1805 and after receiving a good English education he chose the life of a seafaring man. He leaves a family of four children, three daughters and one son. The daughters are all married one to Andrew LAWSON, another to James E. GANONG of Clarendon Hotel and third to Dr. JONES of Digby, N.S. (see original)
