On Sunday forenoon, one of the oldest residents of Annapolis, N.S., James RICE, passed away. He reached the advanced age of 98. Mr. Rice came from a very long-lived family, his great-grandfather living to the age of 110, his father, 92 and mother, 93. He was born in Annapolis on the south side of Allan's river in a house built in 1772and in which he died - dying in the same bed in which he was born.
