Sussex, Nov. 26 - In the death of Samuel F. RYAN s/o late George RYAN, the first member of the federal parliament for Kings Co., which occurred at the residence of Joshua OLDFIELD, Newton (Kings Co.) on Sunday last, Millstream loses one of its respected inhabitants. Mr. Ryan had been of late years troubled with paralysis and while visiting Mr. Oldfield was seized with a stroke. He never recovered consciousness and lingered but a few days. He leaves two sons and a daughter, the latter living at present in Sussex. The remains will be interred in the Methodist burying ground, Berwick Corner, Tuesday.
