d. Victoria, Wakefield (Carleton Co.) Sunday eve., 16th May, Mrs. Eliza McGRATH, age 33, with her parents, John and Rebecca LOCKHART and other members of their family early in life migrated from Nova Scotia to Carleton Co. in this province. In 1849 she was baptized by Elder Orser and became a member of the Free Christian Baptist Church in Wakefield. On 2 January 1852 she was united in wedlock with Hugh McGRATH who was not then of the same faith as herself. He joined in 1856. She left a husband and three little ones, the youngest but 16 days old. Funeral succeeding Tuesday.
