William URQUHART whose death in Carleton (St. John) yesterday resulted from an accident, had formerly been in the surveying service under Capt. SHORTLAND. 'There were five of us', said William DUNLAVY today, 'in one company in that service and of that number I am the only survivor. Two were drowned, one was killed in the American war and one by accident.'. Mr. Urquhart was employed with Messrs Dunn & Adams. He leaves a wife and five children.
